La Cucina Ristorante in Binzen

I have dined at the restaurant and have gotten take out from La Cucina. I have only had the pizzas but they are best in London. The staff are always helpful and personable. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a wood fired pizza with flavorful crispy crust bursting with fluffy air bubbles. The ratio of sauce-to-cheese is perfect and the cheese is rich and creamy. I recommend trying the Diavolina Calabrese pizza and the Abruzzese pizza.

Nice place to have a meal when out on Richmond. Great tasting food and drinks.

We tried a couple of pizzas and they both were pretty good. Classic Italian toppings, and nothing really out of the ordinary. Based on what I've had in the area it's one of the better pizza places in London.

Really great Italian food, a warm atmosphere, killer wine selection! The bread at the beginning of the meal was warm and super fresh and our bottle of wine was half price since it was Wednesday. Gnocchi was a bigger portion than any other spot we've been to. Highly recommended. 🇮🇹👌

La Cucina opened it's doors in our city in September and this authentic Italian restaurant has so much to offer. From fine dining to a the perfect lounge space, they caters to all. It is also the perfect date night spot! We felt very safe to dine in with all the safety measures put into place. All the tables were spaced out and protective shields were put up between them. Now to the delicious part! Their pasta is homemade daily and crazy fresh! Their hot sauce is also homemade and they add it to their famous lasagna, which is a part of their Tuesday pasta special. The freshness of the ingredients took me right back to Italy! We visited La Cucina on Sunday for pasta night. We decided to order a pizza for a starter. We got the "Abruzzese" pizza which was very good. It was a little thin in the centre and some of the toppings fell off but the crust was amazing. I ordered the "Fini Fini Ai Gamberi" (shrimp pasta) and the g.f. got the cannelloni. The pasta was very good, taste fresh and the sauce was perfect. They give you wood oven bread to go with it with oil and balsamic. They also had a spicy peperoncino which was amazing on the bread. The g.f. ordered the pannacotta which was good but served in a cocktail style highball glass and was only 95% set. The glass made for a nice presentation but would have been better served in a ramekin for the sake of the desert setting. I had a pint of Moretti and the g.f. had prosecco strawberry purée cocktail. Overall a solid meal with great service. The price is a little high given the portion size. I only had 3 tiger shrimp in my past which was ok for the Sunday special but would be a little steep at regular menu price. Also you need to purchase a drink to take advantage of the Sunday pasta night special which is not advertised on the menu or online as a stipulation. I would recommend La Cucina if your in the mood for Italian downtown London.

Service was good but the food was that great. I will admit they have great pizza dough but the crust is too much. If you have a crust that thick, you should offer some sort of sauce to dip it in otherwise it’s so dry. Another thing, my friend got the vegetarian pizza and the dough was so thin in the centre that she couldn’t even pick up one slice without all the toppings falling off. I got the Montanera, the one with cheese, rapinni, and sausage. The cheese was good but the sausage was so dry. Rapinni was so bitter and unpleasant to eat but that’s just how the vegetable is. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it was perfectly cooked but the coating on the calamari was so bland, no seasoning whatsoever and the sauce on the side didn’t help much with that either.

Pretty mediocre food. I definitely appreciate the wood oven pizza, but I feel like they use cheap ingredients. Also questionable whether the caesar salad actually has homemade dressing as they promote (my thought it that it's likely store bought). My meal was ok, but I'm not rushing back. Pizzeria Madre has much better Neapolitan pizza imo than this chain.

Delicious handmade pizzas

Dined there this evening. Started out with the arancini which were very good. We ordered a pizza which was spicy and very delicious. The pasta ( cannelloni ) on the other hand was luke warm, the filling was dry. The sauce had the consistency as it was pre made and it had been sitting around, I would have preferred a pasta dish from M & M. Not sure id recommend or return.

My experience in this restaurant was phenomenal. The four cheese gnocchi is to die for, its the perfect combination of cheese and pepper and to top it off the gnocchi is house made and so fresh. It does not get better. We had also split a pizza and the wood fire oven just exceeds all expectations. All I can think when leaving the restaurant today is, when will I get to go back and what will I try next. It is a MUST try. Special thanks to our server Lucas who was always there when we needed him and had our food in front of us in no time at all.

My boyfriend & I came here to celebrate my birthday with a few of our friends, we had a beautiful spot on the patio as the sun was setting. Our server was wonderful, and our food was AMAZING. It’s the best Italian food I’ve had outside of a trip to Italy a few years ago. This is definitely going to become a favorite restaurant of ours.

Authentic and delicious, my new favour place in London!

My boyfriend and I were incredibly excited to try this place and the service was great and however the meals left us disappointed. I ordered the lamb which was very salty and overcooked and the potatoes reminded me more of home fries. My boyfriend had the veal parmigan which reminded him of meatloaf though the side pasta was very good. The best part for us was probably the wine selection and then the desert we ordered. We are likely going to give them another try as their pizza's and pastas look quite good so here's to second chances.

The food was extraordinary. I had the Veal Parmigiano and my wife Barb had Spaghetti and she adored it. Cheesecake for desert and a Specialty coffee each to top off the night. Erica our server was awesome and made the whole experience even better. We will for sure go back as the food was as close to REAL Italian as I have ever eaten, and we've frequented many high end restaurants in North America over the years.

Jim and I had an amazing meal Sun night on the upstairs patio our server Erica was fantastic she made excellent recommendations. The home made pasta was delicious and the house red wine went very well with my dinner. We started with bruschetta then went on to spaghetti for myself and Veal Parmigiano for Jim then ended with delicious desert and specialty coffee. I would recommend this new Italian Restaurant highly.

Tonight I had the best think crust pizza ever.....they featured a meat lover special the night we were there which was up my alley and it didn’t disappoint. We will be back to try one of their pastas very soon! Bruno stopped by and checked on us and added his own authentic flair to our experience.

I ordered vodka penne and a Margherita pizza to go, price was good, food was great!
